Wallaceville Com Dev Coming Along
The Blue Mountains Campus in Ward Street, Wallaceville is coming along despite the Level 4 lockdown period which set things back a week or two.
In the frontage part of this commercial/offices development there appears there will be four new large buildings to go with the three currently being completely renovated inside and make-over exteriorly . The main building (Buddle House) which in part is 4 storied is a major undertaking with old cladding being removed. It is hoped to have a restaurant on the ground floor with a gym envisaged and I believe both will be availed to the public at large.
I believe the bulk of this building will have a single organisation occupying it.
Part of the land will become a walking and jogging loop and most of the current trees on the site will remain.
Taking a guess I would say that the occupancy could be
in the 500 ballpark.
Great that the Wallaceville Railway Station is across the road.
Poll: Do you think banning gang patches is reasonable?
With the government cracking down on gangs, it is now illegal for gang members to display their insignia in public places whether through clothing or their property.
This means arrests can be made if these patches are worn in places like restaurants, shops, on public transport or ferries, and on airplanes. Arrests were made recently at a funeral.

Poll: Should all neighbours have to contribute to improvements?
An Auckland court has ruled a woman doesn’t have to contribute towards the cost of fixing a driveway she shares with 10 neighbours.
When thinking about fences, driveways or tree felling, for example, do you think all neighbours should have to pay if the improvements directly benefit them?
