Volunteer for Us
Next May our training for new volunteers is starting, if you would like to volunteer for us please send an email to: manager.upperhutt@cab.org.nz
Want to make a difference to peoples’ lives? Volunteer for Citizens Advice Bureau (CAB) - Te Pou Whakawhirinaki o Aotearoa.
We provide a free information and advice service to anyone who wants it. Our volunteers help over 500,000 people every year from all walks of life to know and exercise their rights.
Being a CAB Volunteer is challenging but rewarding. We work with clients by listening carefully, researching the options available to them and by explaining the information in a way that they can use it.
If you are:
interested in people, information and issues
able to listen
open minded
keen to learn
eager to help others
confident using a computer
interested in researching to find things out
then you are a potential CAB Volunteer.
