Tapping Into Seated Tai Chi

Andrew from Birchville

EFT Tapping & Tai Chi together? - What a great idea!

EFT (a.k.a. Tapping) has been on the world stage for years, and is great for stress and anxiety reduction, pain relief and emotional wellbeing

Tai Chi has been around for decades, and it too is of great benefit for stress relief and emotional wellbeing, as well as strength and balance, breathing, posture, coordination and so much more

I'm putting them together in classes which will be done sitting down!

If you know anyone who is interested in Tapping (Emotional Freedom Techniques) and Tai Chi, or who is wheelchair-bound, or maybe cannot stand for any length of time, then this may be of interest to you

I am looking to add 45 minutes - 60 minutes sessions combining Emotional Freedom Techniques (a.k.a. Tapping) with Tai Chi classes to my offerings at Te Kupenga o Rongomai - Maidstone Sports Hub

If interested please contact me on here or via 0211532508

Poll: Are Kiwis allergic to “exuberance”? 🥝

The Team from Neighbourly.co.nz

In The Post’s opinion piece on the developments set to open across Aotearoa in 2026, John Coop suggests that, as a nation, we’re “allergic to exuberance.”

We want to know: Are we really allergic to showing our excitement?

Is it time to lean into a more optimistic view of the place we call home? As big projects take shape and new opportunities emerge, perhaps it’s worth asking whether a little more confidence (and enthusiasm!) could do us some good.

Some Choice News!

Kia pai from Sharing the Good Stuff

Many New Zealand gardens aren’t seeing as many monarch butterflies fluttering around their swan plants and flower beds these days — the hungry Asian paper wasp has been taking its toll.

Thanks to people like Alan Baldick, who’s made it his mission to protect the monarch, his neighbours still get to enjoy these beautiful butterflies in their own backyards.

Thinking about planting something to invite more butterflies, bees, and birds into your garden?

Thanks for your mahi, Alan! We hope this brings a smile!
