How did you choose what school to send your kids to?

Brittany Keogh Reporter from The Post

Tēna koutou neighbours, The Post is currently investigating school zoning. We're interested to hear from parents/whānau about how they decided what school to send their children to. Did you send your child(ren) to the school you're in zone for (or the nearest school if you don't live inside a particular zone)? Did you enroll your child in a school out-of-zone? Did you move house to get into a particular school/zone? We'd love to hear from a wide range of people, so please get in touch with me or Hanna McCallum if you have something to say on this topic: brittany.keogh@stuff.co.nz

Poll: Should we be giving the green light to new mining projects? 💰🌲

The Team from Neighbourly.co.nz

The Environmental Protection Authority announced this week that a proposed mine in Central Otago (near Cromwell) is about to enter its fast-track assessment process. A final decision could come within six months, and if it’s approved, construction might start as early as mid-2026.

We want to know: Should mining projects like this move ahead?

Keen to dig deeper? Mike White has the scoop.
