Are you a wellness provider looking for an office in Upper Hutt?

Andrew from Birchville

Hi everyone
Today I met with Peter Lagan, the landlord of what used to be Mint Clinic, above Lagan's Pharmacy in Upper Hutt. We met with a view to me moving my business, Andrew Hardwick Hypnotherapy, into that space, but it's way too big for me on my own. Peter's asked me to help him look for health and wellness professionals who maybe just need a single room each, rather than a whole floor. It's a clean and impressive space, with soundproofed rooms, air conditioning, a variety of lighting and an elevator to enable access for anyone who can't manage the stairs. Lagan's is in a great position next to a huge free car park, opposite H2Oxtreme Leisure Pool and the Upper Hutt Library. Here's an external picture. Please contact me if interested. thanks

Poll: Should the government levy industries that contribute to financial hardship?

The Team from Neighbourly.co.nz

As reported in the Post, there’s a $30 million funding gap in financial mentoring. This has led to services closing and mentors stepping in unpaid just to keep helping people in need 🪙💰🪙

One proposed solution? Small levies on industries that profit from financial hardship — like banks, casinos, and similar companies.

So we want to hear what you think:
Should the government ask these industries to contribute?
