A brighter future for upper Hutt
Recent events have transpired to quite quickly and dramatically alter the very near future for Upper Hutt generally speaking.
Housing shortages, immigration influx bought about by the increasing attractiveness of NZ economically and politically and impending roading network improvements ( Transmission Gully, Petone - Grenada motorway) that will bring utilisation of commercial and industrial opportunities in Upper Hutt.
I still lament that the Wellington region has not yet embraced amalgamation which would bring much greater clarity and structure and financial (Govt and private) funding to Upper Hutt and the region.

Thinking about planting something to invite more butterflies, bees, and birds into your garden?
Thanks for your mahi, Alan! We hope this brings a smile!
