Trentham Camp trees
Why have all the large trees inside the camp been cut down, what species were they and are they protected ? Cannot see a valid reason for this destruction unless the roots were causing a problem which appears unlikely given the location of most of the trees. Assume that the Defence Force are exempt from having to obtain resource consent but did they consult with neighbours, Council etc ?

Our suggestion to you: Did you know you can grate and freeze excess courgettes to use in chocolate cake later? It sounds a bit dodgy, but it makes the cake incredibly moist ... and hey, it counts as a serving of veg, right? 🍫
