Poll: Should we have a four-day work week?

The Team from Neighbourly.co.nz

In 2018, a NZ company trialled the four-day week and claimed a 20% increase in productivity, encouraging them to make the change permanent. A four-day work week means employees are paid for 40 hours but only work 32 of those. Should this be rolled out across the country where possible? Give us your vote and share any thoughts below.

Biding Time - Time Out

Michael from Trentham

It is so sad to see and hear an honest, solid achieving gentleman politician that is Joe Biden, the leader of the free world and the leader of the number one super power and economic giant nation, fail in mind and body so that he is no longer hanging on in facing the terror and threat of the appaulingTrump retaking the reigns of power.

Well before the presidents debate of a few days ago was it obvious Biden was not up to the mark anymore. The use of a telepronter made his recent State of the Union speech sound pitch perfect but his slip-up performances at the G7 meetings in Italy a few weeks ago was reported as pitiful

The sooner he calls it quits from contesting the Presidency and orchestrates the Vice President Harris take over wiining the November elections for the Democrats, the better.

Make no mistake the writing is on the wall for Biden.

Whoever wins the USA presidency for the next 4 years from the start of 2025 - Harris or Trump - will affect NZ and Upper Hutt substantially.
