After a few terms away from local body politics, I have new enthusiasm and concern for our local community of Upper Hutt. I feel as if we are at the crossroads - the left hand turn is for stagnation, the right hand turn takes us on a wide and safe road leading to a beautiful look-out where we see the valley, the hills, lakes, river and lots of satisfied people.
