Upper Hutt Central Library building closed
Upper Hutt Central library is closed until further notice, after new information has revealed that it is earthquake prone.
Although we are absolutely shattered that we have to suspend our services at central, not too mention losing access to all those wonderful books for the moment, we are pleased that the decision has been made to put staff and public safety first.
Please do not return your books, all your issues have been extended until the 10th of March. Pinehaven and mobile will be open and running today, and we are working on how we will move forward from here. We will keep you updated as we learn more.
