Free family day at City Gallery on 8 July!
Visit City Gallery for a day of free, fun art activities that the whole whānau can enjoy.
Participate in interactive storytelling and waiata performances with Timotimo in the Colin McCahon exhibition. Watch short animated films from Square Eyes Foundation. Create a brightly coloured abstract painting inspired by Petra Cortright's exhibition. Play with our giant magnet boards to design some quirky chairs. Make a badge. Draw, colour and write on the LOOk! activity cards at the Art Cart.

Poll: Should the government levy industries that contribute to financial hardship?
As reported in the Post, there’s a $30 million funding gap in financial mentoring. This has led to services closing and mentors stepping in unpaid just to keep helping people in need 🪙💰🪙
One proposed solution? Small levies on industries that profit from financial hardship — like banks, casinos, and similar companies.
