Should Upper Hutt and Lower Hutt merge?

Hi all, thank you so much for your comments on this issue. It's certainly been a lively debate. Comments are now closed on this topic.
With the news of Wairarapa's three councils possibly merging into one super-council, do you think Lower Hutt and Upper Hutt should follow suit and merge? Why or why not? Comments may be used in the Upper Hutt Leader unless you state otherwise with NFP (not for print)
