Explore the Great Outdoors with us!
Are you an explorer who yearns to hear the sound of crashing waves off a rocky coastline or the awe-inspiring views from the top of the trig? But have you recently been stuck behind a desk or a screen?
Never fear! We are here to get you out into Wellington’s Great Outdoors!
It’s really easy: Sign up for a guided walk to a new and exciting place with our friendly Park Rangers to guide you by going to www.gw.govt.nz...
We have options for everyone
- Join us next Wednesday after work to take in breath-taking evening views from the ridge above Korohiwa Bay.
- For those who like a sense of adventure we are going off track into the deep depths of Gollans Valley the following Saturday
- If you aren’t up to doing much walking you can join in with the Cross Country Vehicle Club who will be driving up to the Baring Head Lighthouse Reserve looking over Wellington Harbour. You can even go inside the NIWA station and hear more about the amazing work they do on Saturday 28 January
