Whats going on?

Eoin from Te Awamutu

Interested in whats going on the town boundary at the top of Cambridge road Te Awamutu?

The latest stages of Thorncombe Park Subdivision - 20 new sections with sizes 740sqm to 860sqm

Base Civil have a number of staff from Te Awamutu who are back on the job - they had been making great progress pre lockdown so no major changes to timeframes expected yet with civil works expected to be completed in July this year.

We are trying to minimise the amount of earth moved and at this stage the main earthworks are for the roading - sand is coming in from Pirongia for the base layer.

We have lived in Te Awamutu for 16 years and we have a number of local guys who work for our building company and we are super excited about the way stage 1 has gone and are looking forward to building some great great homes - if you are interested in following progress have a look at :

The Team from Neighbourly.co.nz

Buses can be a relaxing way to get home if you have a seat and enough space. However, it can be off-putting when someone is taking a phone call next to you.

Do you think it's inconsiderate for people to have lengthy phone calls on a bus? Vote in the poll, and add your comments below.
