Tokoroa Toastmasters

Julian Neighbourly Lead from South Waikato District

Hi South Waikato
I have had so much fun learning how to speak in front of people and facing the challenge of conquering my nerves, it is such a fantastic journey for so many of us and I wish to share that with as many people as I can that is why we have been working so hard at reforming a toastmaster club in our community, it is free to come along and see what it is all about and of course with forming a club from the ground up we need plenty of guests everyone is welcome, it is even great entertainment just to come along and listen, we have plenty of laughs and the best part is that we are having another demo meetup this Thursday night at 7pm, Tokoroa club upstairs in the blue room, I am looking forward to seeing many of you there.

Poll: Do you think NZ should ban social media for youth?

The Team from Neighbourly.co.nz

The Australian Prime Minister has expressed plans to ban social media use for children.

This would make it illegal for under 16-year-olds to have accounts on platforms including TikTok, Instagram, Facebook and X.
Social media platforms would be tasked with ensuring children have no access (under-age children and their parents wouldn’t be penalised for breaching the age limit)
.
Do you think NZ should follow suit? Vote in our poll and share your thoughts below.
