Options for Continued Technical & IT Support.

Hello everyone, I hope your all keeping safe and healthy during this most testing of times for us all.
As with most businesses I will be ceasing my regular customer visits and onsite technical support for the next 4 weeks.
I am however available to provide technical support over the phone/webchat and via Technical Assistance apps that allow me to securely remote into various devices (PC, Laptops, Mobiles & Tablets) and assist as required with you, so if you do have any technical issues or problems please feel free to give me a call and we can discuss the options and make a plan accordingly.

As always phone based inquiries and advice and are always free so if you have a question regarding that stubborn piece of IT just give me a ring and I will do what I can to assist, and if a remote session is required I have structured my remote support activity into 15 minute segments and will be able to invoice by the quarter hour.

My family and I send my best wishes to you all, and hope you all stay fit and well over the coming month, and I look forward to resuming my full onsite support services to you after we have come through the lock down period.

Scam Alert: Bank cold calls

ASB is warning customers about reports of cold calls from scammers claiming to be from ASB. These scammers are trying to obtain personal information, including usernames, dates of birth, and verification codes sent to your mobile phone.

🛡️ The "Caller Check" Test
If you get a call from someone claiming to be from ASB and you’re unsure, just ask them for a Caller Check. You will then be able to verify the call through the app.

Remember, banks will:​​
❌ Never ask for your banking passwords, PINs, or verification codes​​
❌ Never need to know your full credit card number – especially the CVC
❌ Never ask you to download software or remotely access your device​​
❌ Never ask you to purchase gift cards or transfer funds.

If you have received a phone call and think your account has been compromised, call ASB on 0800 ASB FRAUD (0800 272 372), or visit your local branch.
