Love Tennis Open Day at Omokoroa this Sunday

Sharon from Ōmokoroa

Come and join us this Sunday at our Love Tennis Open Day. We'll have music, a free sausage sizzle, giveaways and lots of fun activities for people of all ages and all abilities. Come and meet our awesome coach Pete O’Dea and get some tennis tips, watch Omokoroa Point School principal and teachers battle it out in a doubles match, or try your hand against our awesome new ball machine. Plus, you can enter Tennis NZ’s major prize draw of a Glacier Country trip for two on the West Coast. So dust off your tennis racquet, or borrow one at the courts and come and have a hit.

Shame on You!

Lisa from Otumoetai

This is what greeted workers at Brookfield Sallies yesterday morning. All of it looks like it should have gone straight to the tip, which is what the Sallies will now have to pay to do. Surely whoever does this has no conscience. The Sallies do an amazing job of helping people in times of need and they don't need to be spending any money they receive on doing your dirty work, especially at this time of year.
