Omokoroa Community Tennis Club Junior Fun Day and Interclub Registration

Sharon from Ōmokoroa

10am – 11:30am Saturday 16 October

Omokoroa Community Tennis Club invites 8 – 18 year olds to our fun event and interclub registration day.

If you wish to register for interclub tennis you will need to join our club. We can help you with that on the day. Games will take place on Saturday mornings 30 Oct - 11 Dec 2021 and 12 Feb - 9 Apr 2022.

There are 3 grades:
· Orange ball < teams of 3 – 5 players, gender neutral < all singles games on a smaller court < teams are encouraged to provide snacks to share

· Green ball < teams of 4 – 6, gender neutral < 4 x singles and 2 x doubles games < normal singles and doubles courts

· Hard ball < teams of 4 – 6 < 4 x singles and 2 x doubles games < normal singles and doubles courts

We will be looking for parents to coordinate the players – you do not need to know how to play tennis to do this

There will be no Junior Interclub on Saturday, 20 November, the day before LOVE Tennis, Sunday, 21 November

For queries please contact the tennis club on 027 261 9517 or via email omokoroactc@gmail.com

Shame on You!

Lisa from Otumoetai

This is what greeted workers at Brookfield Sallies yesterday morning. All of it looks like it should have gone straight to the tip, which is what the Sallies will now have to pay to do. Surely whoever does this has no conscience. The Sallies do an amazing job of helping people in times of need and they don't need to be spending any money they receive on doing your dirty work, especially at this time of year.
