FREE English Conversation Classes (ESOL)

David from Ohauiti

We have been holding free English conversation classes during school term at 8 Atkins Way, Ohauiti, Tauranga (a private house) since about September last year. Classes are starting again in February 2018. There is a Tuesday class from 11:15, but we can have classes on other days if there are enough people interested.

The classes give people learning English as a second or third language a good chance to practice their English. We will try to keep the classes small, so you have a good chance to speak.

An optional English conversation Bible study follows straight after the English conversation class.

The classes have been fun and the students have enjoyed bonding after class.

David taught for two school terms last year at an English school mainly for Koreans.

🪱🐦 When are you the most productive? 🌙🦉

The Team from Neighbourly.co.nz

The Post has been diving into our daily habits, and research suggests being an early bird or a night owl isn’t just a choice—it’s biology! We all have that specific time when our brains finally "click" into gear.

This raises a big question for the modern workplace. To get the best out of everyone, should employers accommodate our natural body clocks? This idea is at the heart of the four-day work week and flexible scheduling movements.

We want to hear from you:
1. When does your brain "click" into gear?
2. Would a flexible (or shortened) schedule change the way you work?

🌉🛶 Early Birds Might Crack This One First… or Not? 🥚🧠

The Riddler from The Neighbourly Riddler

A person is crossing a bridge and sees a boat full of people, yet there isn't a single person on board.
How is this possible?

(Susan from Massey kindly provided this head-scratcher ... thanks, Susan!)
