House Share

Christine from Pyes Pa

Mature person wanted to share our house.
Ideal person would be 40 plus female, be employed fulltime and be able to produce references. We offer you two bedrooms, one double, one single (can be used as a snug or extra space), a separate lounge and your own bathroom. Also you are welcome to socialise with us in the main family/dining room and full use of the kitchen. We are a young thinking 60 year old and 55 year old couple with a 14 year old cat. No pets sorry. The house is brand new at the top of The Lakes, Tauriko. We are asking $320.00 towards the expenses which includes rent, power, phone and internet, water, and rubbish and cleaning products. If you want Sky multiroom it will cost an extra $15.00. Food is your own responsibility and mostly you would just do your own cooking. We work till 6 Tuesday to Friday and 4 on Saturday. You will need your own bedroom furniture. We can supply a 2 seater couch if required. Plenty of space in the pantry and freezer for you. There is room for one car in the garage. You will be responsible for keeping your own area clean and tidy. We like a clean and tidy house but are not OCD. Please call Christine on 0274990248, leave a message if I don’t answer and I will get back to you in my break. One weeks rent in advance plus $150 to land agent who will do credit check and police check.

🪱🐦 When are you the most productive? 🌙🦉

The Team from Neighbourly.co.nz

The Post has been diving into our daily habits, and research suggests being an early bird or a night owl isn’t just a choice—it’s biology! We all have that specific time when our brains finally "click" into gear.

This raises a big question for the modern workplace. To get the best out of everyone, should employers accommodate our natural body clocks? This idea is at the heart of the four-day work week and flexible scheduling movements.

We want to hear from you:
1. When does your brain "click" into gear?
2. Would a flexible (or shortened) schedule change the way you work?

🌉🛶 Early Birds Might Crack This One First… or Not? 🥚🧠

The Riddler from The Neighbourly Riddler

A person is crossing a bridge and sees a boat full of people, yet there isn't a single person on board.
How is this possible?

(Susan from Massey kindly provided this head-scratcher ... thanks, Susan!)
