Level 4 and 3 reminder
Now more than ever, we need to follow the rules to prevent the spread of COVID-19. So as a reminder under level 4 and 3:
π³ Mauao is closed and that includes the base track.
πΉ Heading out for exercise or essentials? Keep a physical distance of 2m, don't put yourself or others at risk.
πIf you are heading to the beach don't take an ATV or head out on the boat
π Transfer stations are closed to the public, but will be open for commercial waste providers and existing account holders under Level 3. Non account holders can arrange a collection with a private waste service provider.
And also:
π© Your dogβs poo, pick it up.
We are not quite there yet. Be respectful of others and the spaces that we share.
Stay safe, stay home and be kind.
Poll: If we want to reduce speeding, what do you think actually changes driver behaviour? π»π¨π
In the Post's article on speeding penalties, the question is asked whether speeding fines are truly about road safety, or are they just a way to boost revenue for the Crown?

-
36.2% The sting of a fine (Money talks!)
-
63.8% The threat of demerit points (Nobody wants to lose their license!)
