The Mount Base Path, move the TCC along.
As a community we need to push the council to get the round the Mount path fixed. How long does it take in Tauranga, it happened in April 2017. Its a beautiful path and is for everyone. Why does it take so long to repair. Quotes saying it will cost up to $7 million, who is crazy here. I thought the Auckland was good at getting ripped off, seems this council is not far behind. This track is for the people and could be enjoyed more by the people. Local engineers have looked at the work and say they could complete the work for less than $200,000. They say would be completed in less that a month.
Lets get this council into gear. The election is coming up, do we need positive changes. Read Letters in the Weekend Sun 12 July.

Poll: If we want to reduce speeding, what do you think actually changes driver behaviour? π»π¨π
In the Post's article on speeding penalties, the question is asked whether speeding fines are truly about road safety, or are they just a way to boost revenue for the Crown?
What do you think? Should speeding motorists receive speeding fines or demerit points?
-
37.6% The sting of a fine (Money talks!)
-
62.4% The threat of demerit points (Nobody wants to lose their license!)
