WAVES After Suicide Education Group
We are taking registrations for our next 8-week WAVES programme running from Monday 12 February to Monday 8 April 2024 (excluding Easter Monday) from 5:30 to 7:30pm. The group supports adults bereaved by suicide in their understanding and management of grief and development of resilience. As reported in the Post, there’s a $30 million funding gap in financial mentoring. This has led to services closing and mentors stepping in unpaid just to keep helping people in need 🪙💰🪙
One proposed solution? Small levies on industries that profit from financial hardship — like banks, casinos, and similar companies.
