TOOTHPASTE URGENTLY REQUIRED FOR CHARITY
CAREPACKFORPATIENTS.CO.NZ is seeking donations of toothpaste(small size similar to what Dentists give away) these are included in our PERSONAL CARE PACKS which are given away FREE to Tauranga Public Hospital patients who are admitted under Emergency circumstances and don't have access to their own. Carepacks include a toothbrush/paste/shampoo/conditioner/comb/shaver/pen. Over the past 11 years since I set up the charity we have given away 22,000!!! Yes! 22 thousand, and they demands continues to grow as does the Tauranga and surrounding districts populations. This is what greeted workers at Brookfield Sallies yesterday morning. All of it looks like it should have gone straight to the tip, which is what the Sallies will now have to pay to do. Surely whoever does this has no conscience. The Sallies do an amazing job of helping people in times of need and they don't need to be spending any money they receive on doing your dirty work, especially at this time of year.
