Otumoetai College Rowing have the great pleasure to present An Evening with Everest Mountaineer and Extreme Marathon Runner Mike Allsop. This as an exciting opportunity for teenagers and the wider community to hear a motivating speaker talk about his steps to success. Mike will also talk about the work of the Pinnacle Programme in supporting and mentoring teenagers and young adults to fulfil their goals in reaching the peak of their chosen fields whether it be in sports ,the arts or acadamia.
Perhaps your sports teams/teenagers/ pupils could come along as a team building exercise? It’s a great opportunity to educate on the psychological aspects of attaining goals.
We also plan to have businesses that are affiliated with sports exhibit their services/products that can assist in achieving sporting goals, and will provide refreshments and something to eat.
