I'm inspired by the work of Make-A-Wish New Zealand and wanted to support them by raising money as part of my participation in Walking for Wishes: Great Wall of China 2019. - While getting ready for this great adventure to help raise money for Make A Wish New Zealand I have set myself the goal of running 16,000km. That is the length of the New Zealand coast line. Our amazing Hillary Hikers from Edmund Hillary Village showed their support for Bowel Cancer New Zealand's Move Your Butt campaign this month!
Sporting the bright purple and orange campaign shirts, these wonderful walkers hit the Auckland waterfront and marched from Mission Bay to Kohimarama, raising awareness for bowel cancer and the importance of early detection along the way.
