MetService has issued a strong wind watch for Bay Of Plenty, including Rotorua.
Valid: 8 hours from 1:00pm to 9:00pm Tuesday.
Forecast: Strong northwesterly winds are expected to change to strong southwesterlies during this time, and these winds may approach severe gale in exposed places.
An update for severe weather will be issued by 9:00pm Tuesday 24 Sep 2019.
