So many doses of influenza vaccine have been given out this year that nationwide stocks are about to run out, just a week into the flu season.

To ensure those most in need can get the vaccine, the ministry is asking GPs and pharmacists to closely manage their stock levels and only vaccinate those who are eligible for publicly funded vaccines.
