FREE ITEMS NEEDED FOR TOURETTES CAMP FUNDRAISER GARAGE SALES & AUCTIONS

Hi, my name is Jenny and I have 2 children with Tourette's Syndrome. Our son attended the first ever Tourette's Association Camp, "Camp Twitch", 2&1/2 years ago, and it changed his life. This Year "Camp Twitch" is being held in October in Christchurch.

I am wanting to fundraise so that my children & others affected by this condition can have the opportunity to attend this amazing event.

Looking for donations of NEW/USED household/kitchen items, toys/dolls/bears, books/magazines, craft items/fabric, plants & pots, gardening and other tools, furniture, linen, pictures/paintings, DVDs/cds, clothes (babies, kids, adults) ...... anything really that could either be sold at a garage sale or auctioned off.

You are more than welcome to drop off items at our home in Welcome Bay, or we can collect donated goods on weekends.

Feel free to contact me on: 0277706999 (NEW NUMBER)

To all those who have already given so generously, I send a HUGE THANK YOU. I am so very grateful to you all.

Poll: Should the government levy industries that contribute to financial hardship?

The Team from Neighbourly.co.nz

As reported in the Post, there’s a $30 million funding gap in financial mentoring. This has led to services closing and mentors stepping in unpaid just to keep helping people in need 🪙💰🪙

One proposed solution? Small levies on industries that profit from financial hardship — like banks, casinos, and similar companies.

So we want to hear what you think:
Should the government ask these industries to contribute?
