Yin Myofascial Workshop -Sat, 29th June 1-3.30pm @ Tauranga Yoga Centre
Yin is a very passive and gentle practice that focuses a lot on the breath and turning inwards to listen to and attend to you body's needs in that moment . Research says we store emotions/trauma in muscles, organs and joints, and when we stay a while breathing well, with gentle loving attention to the parts of the body that start to 'talk' we also attend to the mind and emotions
We use loads of props and in a Myofascial class and we also use tennis balls to help us target specific 'meridians' or reflexology points to help us release tight stuck energy- to help us to 'Let Go!
There will be 2 Teacher's assisting in this workshop so that we can individually help you to locate the specific reflex meridian points and to offer hands on adjustments -if a students like this.
We ask you to bring 2 x tennis balls and a long sock.
