Quality Blankets Wanted!
Kia ora neighbours! ❤️
Do you have a quality blanket you don't use anymore?
Sustainability Options are running a blanket drive for families they work with in cold, damp homes.
I feel like this winter has been tough. We have had long, cold nights, and weeks of rain, I have been freezing and live in a lovely home I can only imagine how hard this must make it for locals in homes who can't hold in the heat or keep out the wetness 🥶
Woolen or quality blankets are a great way to help a family snuggle up warm while the winter weather continues. But they are currently running low. If you have preloved blankets that have been tucked away in the hot water cupboard, wardrobe, or spare room, this might be the perfect opportunity to give them another lease of life!

What's your favourite tomato recipe?
Kia ora neighbours. We know your tomato plants are still growing, but we're looking ahead to the harvest already! If you've got a family recipe for tomatoes, we'd love to see it and maybe publish it in our magazine to share with our readers. Send your recipe to mailbox@nzgardener.co.nz, and if we use it in the mag, you will receive a free copy of our February 2025 issue.
