Wairoa Cycleway

Communications from Tauranga City Council

A heads up for road users to expect traffic delays around the Wairoa Bridge to Bethlehem area for the next few months.

Works have begun to construct the last 800m of the Ōmokoroa to Tauranga cycleway, which will enable safe cycling on this narrow section of SH2. Traffic management and restricted speed limits are in place.

Waka Kotahi will be doing some major road resurfacing in the next few weeks which will require overnight road closures in the same area for about three days. More information to follow.

Visit www.tauranga.govt.nz... to learn more about the Wairoa Cycleway. Thanks for your patience and understanding while we get this work done.
