Community Food Pantry

Victoria from Mount Maunganui

Any one out there with some carpentry skills & spare time to build a us nice sized Community Food Pantry for Arataki Area?  I have the perfect location, all we need is the pantry and we can get started.

Please private message me if you think you can do it, or have supplies to  make one like heaps of left over wood from a building project or fence project etc.  We can talk about design etc.

Please know this is a non-profit "giving back to the community" kind of thing so if you want to charge us, don't bother messaging me please.

It will be a place where people can bring their extra fruit & veg from their property, for young & alike, maybe hungry but with no shame collection point (on the way to school etc) and this way good food is not wasted on the ground.

Thanks Peeps!

🌉🛶 Early Birds Might Crack This One First… or Not? 🥚🧠

The Riddler from The Neighbourly Riddler

A person is crossing a bridge and sees a boat full of people, yet there isn't a single person on board.
How is this possible?

(Susan from Massey kindly provided this head-scratcher ... thanks, Susan!)

🪱🐦 When are you the most productive? 🌙🦉

The Team from Neighbourly.co.nz

The Post has been diving into our daily habits, and research suggests being an early bird or a night owl isn’t just a choice—it’s biology! We all have that specific time when our brains finally "click" into gear.

This raises a big question for the modern workplace. To get the best out of everyone, should employers accommodate our natural body clocks? This idea is at the heart of the four-day work week and flexible scheduling movements.

We want to hear from you:
1. When does your brain "click" into gear?
2. Would a flexible (or shortened) schedule change the way you work?
