Travel companion wanted

Diane from Mount Maunganui

I used to backpack in Asia about 25 yrs ago (I'm mid 50's) before having the 2 boys, now aged 20 and 14. Both they and my husband are not interested in travelling. I have done tours to China (X2) and Vietnam over the past 5 years but don't like tours. Unfortunately I have lost my confidence to do independent travel as it's been so long since I have done so and am looking for a travel companion for at least my first trip to Asia independently again. I like travelling during cooler months so am looking at the first trip around Oct next year with a max of 3 weeks travelling each year. I am particularly interested in visiting Sth Korea, Taiwan, Japan, Thailand, Cambodia and Laos over the next few years. Is there anyone who is interested in joining me?

🪱🐦 When are you the most productive? 🌙🦉

The Team from Neighbourly.co.nz

The Post has been diving into our daily habits, and research suggests being an early bird or a night owl isn’t just a choice—it’s biology! We all have that specific time when our brains finally "click" into gear.

This raises a big question for the modern workplace. To get the best out of everyone, should employers accommodate our natural body clocks? This idea is at the heart of the four-day work week and flexible scheduling movements.

We want to hear from you:
1. When does your brain "click" into gear?
2. Would a flexible (or shortened) schedule change the way you work?

🌉🛶 Early Birds Might Crack This One First… or Not? 🥚🧠

The Riddler from The Neighbourly Riddler

A person is crossing a bridge and sees a boat full of people, yet there isn't a single person on board.
How is this possible?

(Susan from Massey kindly provided this head-scratcher ... thanks, Susan!)
