Over the top charge for electrical appliance
I am just giving others the heads up. We took an appliance to KD electrical at Mount Maunganui and have been charged a minimum fee of $120 to say it is dead. THERE WAS NO TRAVEL! KD Electrical when asked told us there hourly rate is $80, so $120 for half an hour makes no sense. We have challenged them when they told us it was $100 and now the invoice has arrived $120. We will never darken their door again this is our second bad experience but they are the service agents for several of our appliances. I hope to save others the same expensive mistake. BOP Appliances have a $50 fee to check any appliance found to be dead. Almost Fair Go material in fact I am tempted
🧩😏 Riddle me this, Neighbours…
