Our bloody council is at it again!

Chelles from Gate Pa

Please go to their website and express your opposition to this ridiculous bylaw proposing only allowing 2 dogs off lead or 4 dogs on lead per person....

There are so many ways that this is going to cause MORE issues and not actually solve the ones the council are on about.

Hi neighbours – Loud Shirt Day is coming up in September and it's time to use your power of LOUD for GOOD.

Izabella was born profoundly deaf and in the four years following her diagnosis, her parents' emotions of shock, being scared and overwhelmed have turned to amazement, surprise and hope - all thanks to Izabella's progress as a hearing and speaking child.

Izabella loves to sing and dance, she enjoys gymnastics, bike rides and playing with her older brothers. What are her superpowers I hear you ask? She's fierce, adventurous and caring!

Register to fundraise and help deaf children like Izabella listen and speak. You can also donate here on Givealittle. Thanks for your support!

In preparation for the new fortnightly service, collection crates and information brochures are being delivered to every household in Tauranga from next week.

The brochure provides information on how to use the service, and has a collection week calendar so residents will know which fortnight to put their crates out. Collections will take place on the same day of the week as current rubbish collections, unless otherwise advised by Council.

For more information about the new glass collection service, visit www.tauranga.govt.nz/glass or phone 07 577 7000.
