Are you a striking midwife? More than 1100 District Health Board-employed (DHB) midwives have voted to strike, becoming the latest group to take industrial action since the Labour administration came into power. To read more, click here.
Midwives would give notice from Wednesday of two-hour work stoppages every day on every shift over a two-week period, starting Thursday, November 22.

Another one of our monthly events showcasing the second generation of Pacific Islands immigrants - children - their abilities and talents. Expect a fantastic evening. Entry is opened to everybody - just bring a plate of food for a shared dinner ad a donation to support our services.
A pop-up exhibition of art created by migrants in Tauranga - some items will be for sale. The exhibition will be on 15th to 18th November at the Historic Village, the Jam Factory behind The Incubator. Open every day from 9am to 5pm.
