Not anymore! Prasad, 18, and the youngest in a family of five, is now working as a caregiver while studying a foundation course at NZMA for occupational therapy and has realised she ‘‘could do anything’’. She is the first in her family to go to university. The South Auckland teen has found her potential with the help of our Foundation that aims to transform young Kiwi lives.

I thought … View moreAs a community we need to push the council to get the round the Mount path fixed. How long does it take in Tauranga, it happened in April 2017. Its a beautiful path and is for everyone. Why does it take so long to repair. Quotes saying it will cost up to $7 million, who is crazy here. I thought the Auckland was good at getting ripped off, seems this council is not far behind. This track is for the people and could be enjoyed more by the people. Local engineers have looked at the work and say they could complete the work for less than $200,000. They say would be completed in less that a month.
Lets get this council into gear. The election is coming up, do we need positive changes. Read Letters in the Weekend Sun 12 July.
