Waikato against mozzies! š¦ Is the Bay of Plenty ready to join the fight?
Researchers from Victoria University are on the hunt for Waikato properties to set traps as part of a project aimed at keeping the country safe from mosquito-borne diseases coming from across the ditch.
Backed by the Ministry for Primary Industries, the project is targeting high-risk areasāincluding Northland, Auckland, Bay of Plenty, and Hawkeās Bayāto keep a close eye on mosquito activity.
