There’s not long to go until Te Toka Whakaea – Youth Climate Forum! Tauranga youth, aged between 13 – 24-years-old, are invited to attend to discuss and workshop some of the biggest climate change challenges the city is facing.
Feedback from attendees will be included in the development of the city’s first climate plan, currently in development.

Poll: Should the government levy industries that contribute to financial hardship?
As reported in the Post, there’s a $30 million funding gap in financial mentoring. This has led to services closing and mentors stepping in unpaid just to keep helping people in need 🪙💰🪙
One proposed solution? Small levies on industries that profit from financial hardship — like banks, casinos, and similar companies.
So we want to hear what you think:

Hi neighbours, I am an artist and I am looking for chunky blocks of wood, offcuts, any wood but must be chunky , minimum 10cm cubed or larger. They don't need to be perfect, irregular shapes will be fine, any type of wood. Also I need steel rods.... eg: refer to image .
