Concerned for the homeless? Want to help in a real way?
CONCERNED FOR THE HOMELESS IN TAURANGA?
I know a homeless Maori family of 6 who have been struggling for about a year to find a house to rent and who currently sleep in tents in the park.
Like us, you may have a house with two or three spare bedrooms, but are concerned that if you let a family move in until they can find a more permanent place to rent, it could be a very long wait, and you are just not willing to make that kind of commitment.
Perhaps, if you were part of a group of 4 or 5 people or more who were willing to take turns for 2-4 weeks housing a family such as that above, you would be able to express your concern for the homeless in a really significant way.
Please contact me, David Kidd, at churchofgodslove4@gmail.com or 02041283124 if you would like to come to a meeting discussing this idea, and then possibly being part of it.
WINTERS COMING, so please get back to me ASAP, so we can soon bring good news to a family, hopefully the one I mentioned above.

Poll: Do you think NZ should ban social media for youth?
The Australian Prime Minister has expressed plans to ban social media use for children.
This would make it illegal for under 16-year-olds to have accounts on platforms including TikTok, Instagram, Facebook and X.
Social media platforms would be tasked with ensuring children have no access (under-age children and their parents wouldn’t be penalised for breaching the age limit)
.
