Taking place on Sunday September 16, the road will be blocked off from either side of the Wairoa Bridge at 3pm. Once there is no traffic going over the bridge they plan on marching for 30 mins.
Organisers plan to meet at Taniwha place reserve at 2.30pm before the March. Later the same day, Bay of Plenty MP Todd Muller and National Party Transport Spokesperson Jami-Lee Ross are holding a public meeting regarding SH2, taking place at Omokoroa Settlers’ Hall from 4.30pm onwards.

Her previous career experience includes fundraising and advocacy for nonprofits, financial planning and sustainable land development.
Tina has recently been elected to the board of TECT.
