Feijoa scooped and frozen. Price is $15 per Kg.

Allan from Tauriko

Available in Half. One. Two and Three Kg snap lock bags. As well as some 1kg plastic containers.
It takes approx. 2.3 Kgs of fruit off the tree to produce 1 kg of scooped fruit. So, in effect $15 per kg of frozen equals less that $7 per Kg for the actual fruit.
The fruit is not registered organic but is totally spray free. All processing carried out in spotless and hygienic surrounds by myself and my wife, both of us having attended food hygiene courses.
Lasts well in fridge once unfrozen, makes yummy cold desert with pineaple pieces, cream or ice cream. Or a variety of other recipies inckuding muffins etc.
We live in Tauranga and do not want to ship small amounts of frozen fruit nationwide. We are happy to deliver free around the Tauranga area any sales over 2 Kgs
Fruit can be picked up as long as prior arrangements are made. Call us on 0274964683

Price: $15

Got more greens than you know what to do with? 🥦🌱🥕

The Team from Neighbourly.co.nz

Whether it’s a courgette takeover or a feijoa frenzy, don’t let those garden gems go to waste!

Our suggestion to you: Did you know you can grate and freeze excess courgettes to use in chocolate cake later? It sounds a bit dodgy, but it makes the cake incredibly moist ... and hey, it counts as a serving of veg, right? 🍫

🪱🐦 When are you the most productive? 🌙🦉

The Team from Neighbourly.co.nz

The Post has been diving into our daily habits, and research suggests being an early bird or a night owl isn’t just a choice—it’s biology! We all have that specific time when our brains finally "click" into gear.

This raises a big question for the modern workplace. To get the best out of everyone, should employers accommodate our natural body clocks? This idea is at the heart of the four-day work week and flexible scheduling movements.

We want to hear from you:
1. When does your brain "click" into gear?
2. Would a flexible (or shortened) schedule change the way you work?

🌉🛶 Early Birds Might Crack This One First… or Not? 🥚🧠

The Riddler from The Neighbourly Riddler

A person is crossing a bridge and sees a boat full of people, yet there isn't a single person on board.
How is this possible?

(Susan from Massey kindly provided this head-scratcher ... thanks, Susan!)
