Ardern says "children themselves told us during the consultation on the strategy that going to school hungry was a barrier to their learning."
Education spokeswoman Nikki Kaye says the Government hasn't considered that most schools don't have infrastructure for large scale food preparation and storage. She says "this would cost hundreds of millions and take away the autonomy of parents to provide lunch for their children".

Since my husband suffered a major brain bleed and subsequent stroke in April last year, Sharon has been there for us. Sharon has helped me bring loads of wood up, helps with shopping and helps me with my husband when we have to go out. We would not have coped without her amazing help and she works full time also! She is an amazing neighbour and also checks on us to see if we are fine and especially me so I appreciate that so much. Sharon is a totally amazing wonderful neighbour and friend.
Hi I’m a single mother of two boys with different needs I’m after a 3 bedroom house ASAP I have been told I have to move from where I am. I have been applying for everything I can find but unfortunately I don’t get it does anyone know of anything? I will look at anything thanks everyone
