SMEG 900mm oven - pickup immediately

Laura from Whakamarama

SMEG oven, 2 x double length cooking trays (900mm length). Gas stove top, electric oven.

Pre-loved but still working condition. Needs some TLC to bring back to full working order. Some of the burners need new thermo couples, and the oven needs a new door seal. We've been cooking with it (constantly) in its current condition for past 8yrs. SMEG is a high end oven brand and we've just replaced this one with a newer version. We love SMEG!!

Whole lot for only $100. Pick up required from near Apata pack house location today if possible. First in, first served.

Call Laura (021 0226 1201) or Mike (022 3070 475).

Price: $100

Suellen’s sweet Christmas tradition

Bob Owens Retirement Village

The festive season is always a great excuse to indulge your sweet tooth, and this time of year poses the perfect opportunity to bring a real showstopper to the Christmas table.

For Suellen’s family, that showstopper is Croquembouche, an impressive tower of cream puffs bound together with spun sugar that is popular at weddings in France and Italy.

What began as a birthday treat at a local French café has become a cherished Christmas tradition for Suellen and her 17-year-old twin granddaughters, Ellie and Sadie. Every year, the trio gather in Suellen’s apartment at William Sanders Village to cook this festive dessert - a holiday highlight they all treasure.
