We have lots of native trees like PÅhutukawa, large-leaved KÅwhai, TÅtara, and KÅhÅ«hÅ« to giveaway as we look to increase the cityâs tree canopy coverage.
Free native tree? Yeah, Iâm in:
ðBe at Mercury Baypark on Sunday, 9 June between 9am â 1pm
ð One tree per household on a first come, first served basis
ðNo trailers necessary as a tree will fit in a car
ð Fuel up at the coffee cart while youâre there
ðContribute to increasing Tauranga tree canopy coverage from 22% to 30% or more.
We have 1900 trees to giveaway so share with your friends and whÄnau and letâs improve our urban greenery and biodiversity together.

An Auckland court has ruled a woman doesnât have to contribute towards the cost of fixing a driveway she shares with 10 neighbours.
