Greerton Maarawaewae Study
A community conversation on the future use of the Tauranga Racecourse Reserve sparked more than 650 pieces of feedback as part of the Greerton Maarawaewae Study, a partnership between Council and Kāinga Ora – Homes and Communities.
Darren Toy, Bay of Plenty Regional Director of Kāinga Ora and Commissioners Anne Tolley and Shadrach Rolleston are pictured here looking through some of the feedback we received from our focus groups.
As a result of this community conversation, seven draft options have been proposed for your consideration.
These options are now available on our website for you to look at over the summer break www.tauranga.govt.nz...
In February we’ll hold some more community days to provide information and respond to your questions.
