Moffat Road closure and alternative routes
From January until April 2024, there’ll be major roadworks between Tauriko and Bethlehem, Tauranga requiring a full road closure of a section of Moffat Road.
Travel through this area will be disrupted, with light vehicles using local detours, and heavy trucks to use State Highway 29/Takitimu Drive Toll Road.

As reported in the Post, there’s a $30 million funding gap in financial mentoring. This has led to services closing and mentors stepping in unpaid just to keep helping people in need 🪙💰🪙
One proposed solution? Small levies on industries that profit from financial hardship — like banks, casinos, and similar companies.
