Mauao track closure

Communications from Tauranga City Council

Get your Mauao fix over the weekend as it will be closed during the following times next week to upgrade and resurface the Waikorire track 🌄

- Waikorire track closed: 8am Monday, 12 October to 4pm Friday, 16 October
- All of Mauao closed, all tracks: 7am to 4.30pm, Wednesday 14 October and Thursday 15 October (Friday 16 October if needed).

This means, there will be no public access on Mauao during this time.

Helicopters will be used during these works, so the closures are to ensure public safety.

Access to the summit on Monday, Tuesday (and Friday, if works are complete) will be via the 4x4 track and the Oruahine track.
