Offering female operated gardening and lawn mowing services

Viola from Taupo Central

Good morning all,

I am now fully into my gardening and lawn mowing business but still have some available spaces left for more gardens and lawns to be taken care of. :)

I offer regular or one-off gardening services like weeding, trimming, tidy up's, regular maintenance and lawn mowing services. I also offer my gardening services for properties that want/need to be sold, to make them look tidy and more appealing for the sale.
I am operating on my own, taking pride and care in it as it is my passion and joy!

If you haven't got the time to look after your garden or you are struggling with the physical work that gardening often comes with, give me a call or text on 021 025 1343.

I am Acacia Bay-based but do work all over Taupo, as well as Waitahanui and Kinloch.

Poll: Should the government levy industries that contribute to financial hardship?

The Team from Neighbourly.co.nz

As reported in the Post, there’s a $30 million funding gap in financial mentoring. This has led to services closing and mentors stepping in unpaid just to keep helping people in need 🪙💰🪙

One proposed solution? Small levies on industries that profit from financial hardship — like banks, casinos, and similar companies.

So we want to hear what you think:
Should the government ask these industries to contribute?

Wild weather in the Waikato

The Team from Neighbourly.co.nz

The Waikato really copped it over the weekend, with wild weather leaving a hefty clean-up bill that may run into the millions.

While things are looking calmer in the days ahead, there are still plenty of slips and flooded roads across the district — so if you’re heading out, take it easy and stay alert.

We want to know: How did you and your whānau get on over the weekend?

Want to see what recovery will look like from here? The Waikato Times has the latest.
